Calving Preparation Lick

Why Use RumenWorks Calving Lick?
- FACT: Contains high levels of Vitamin E to assist immunoresponse, or the cow/heifers ability to fight disease.
- FACT: The anionic salts lower blood pH which, through a series of internal processes, leads to mobilisation of calcium and phosphorus. The resulting higher blood calcium concentrations stimulate muscle contractions which helps prevent post calving metabolic disorders such as milk fever.
- FACT: Vitamin D3 have a very import role in ensuring Calcium balances are correct in early lactation.
How To Use RumenWorks Calving Lick:
Place in feed troughs with easy access (can be close to water), allow a minimum of 1 trough for at least 50 cows.

Rumenworks Calving Lick:
Needs to be made available to cows/heifers for at least 4 weeks prior to the commencement of calving, and then through the duration of the calving period.
Feeding Rate:
Cows should be consuming approximately 100grams/400kg of body weight.
